Hello CKC families!

My name is Hanah and I have had the pleasure of working at Westlake Elementary School since April 2023. I will receive my Bachelors in Education from UC Santa Cruz in March 2025. I have been dedicated to working with children since 2021, from preschool to school age and I find so much joy in being able to work with children. I started working at a private school in 2021 and once I moved to Santa Cruz in 2023 I started working at Westlake Elementary! I have family that live in Santa Cruz, so every summer and winter since I was little I would always stay with my Aunt and Uncle who have lived here for over 20 years. Having friends and family in Santa Cruz, who I am so close to really inspired me to move to Santa Cruz. My future goal is to receive my teaching credential and become a teacher by 2026!

Beyond my professional commitments, I love to hang out with my friends and family. In my free time, when I’m home my two housemates and I love to cook and watch movies. My weekends include trying new restaurants, working out, and spending time with my family. It has been so rewarding to see Westlake grow from staff to children, each day I look forward to what the day holds!
